Scheduled for 22–24 February 2027 at the Sandton Convention Centre in Johannesburg, this high-profile event is delivered in partnership with the Johannesburg Tourism Company (JTC). Coming off the back of its landmark 20th anniversary edition, the 2027 show is sharpening its focus on high-yield, quality business connections, market access, and premium commercial opportunities tailored for luxury hospitality and business events leaders.
Shifting Focus to Quality and Value
The 2026 edition demonstrated the immense scale of the event, welcoming buyers from 53 countries—including more than 300 hosted buyers—alongside 325 exhibiting companies, and facilitating over 6,440 confirmed business meetings. For 2027, organisers are using direct industry feedback to pivot toward even higher-value networking.
“Our 20-year milestone gave us an opportunity to celebrate, but also to listen and reflect,” said Corne Koch, Chief Convention Bureau Officer of the South African Convention Bureau. “Meetings Africa 2027 is about taking those lessons forward and ensuring that the platform delivers greater value through quality connections, market access and meaningful business opportunities for our sector.”
